2010 Toyota Prius

The 2010 Toyota Prius is a fuel-efficient hybrid hatchback designed to combine economical driving, practical interior space, and innovative hybrid technology. With its aerodynamic exterior, distinctive styling, and versatile five-door design, the Prius offers a practical solution for drivers seeking an efficient vehicle for daily commuting, city driving, and longer highway trips.

The 2010 model features Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive system, which combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor to optimize fuel consumption and deliver smooth, quiet performance. Its thoughtfully designed interior provides comfortable seating for five passengers, convenient storage, and flexible cargo space, making it suitable for individuals, couples, and small families.

Engine and Hybrid Performance

The 2010 Toyota Prius features a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an electric motor and a hybrid battery system. This combination allows the vehicle to operate using gasoline power, electric assistance, or a combination of both, depending on driving conditions and battery charge.

1. Gasoline engine: 1.8L 4-cylinder DOHC engine
2. Gasoline engine output: 98 horsepower
3. Electric motor output: 80 horsepower
4. Combined system output: 134 horsepower
5. Gasoline engine torque: 105 lb-ft
6. Electric motor torque: 153 lb-ft
7. Transmission: Electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT)
8. Drivetrain: Front-wheel drive (FWD)
9. Hybrid system: Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive
10. Fuel type: Regular unleaded gasoline
